Most Precious Blood is from Brooklyn, NY. The members have a long history in the New York City hardcore scene. Starting as Indecision in 1992, the band blazed trails across the United States, Europe, Canada and Puerto Rico with a work ethic unseen since the days of Black Flag. Most Precious Blood was born literally a few days after Indecision broke up. The band reformed with founding members Justin Brannan (guitar) and Tom Sheehan (vocals, original Indecision singer) and Rachel on bass. The band quickly recorded a 6 song demo and signed with Trustkill Records a few months later.
Most Precious Blood sounds like hardcore did in the early 90's, Unbroken, Undertow, Rorschach, Outspoken.... along with the dirty NYHC sound and some catchy melodies thrown in. The band claims everything from The Cure to Bob Dylan for inspiration. Most Precious Blood is hardcore for the new blood and the 20-somethings, for those who aren't ashamed to still call themselves HARDCORE.
